Non-stop quality Alcoholics Anonymous speakers, one right after doesn't get much better than this!

Being with hubby and friends in an oceanside location, gorgeous weather, comfortable doesn't get much better than this!

Being reminded of what I believe - that God gave me the precious gift of sobriety and I took hold of that gift firmly and have not let go, no matter doesn't get much better than this!

Spending 2 1/2 hours listening to a speaker talk about the AA traditions and loving and agreeing with every minute of that doesn't get much better than this!

Hearing that the steps lead us to service and knowing that the more I give away, the more I keep and then receive even more. This fills me with gratitude, hope, and doesn't get much better than this!

Making myself take time to go sit for an hour on the beach listening to the waves crash onto the shore, watching the rows of foaming curling waves, feeling the breeze blow all around me and ruffle my beach umbrella, feeling the presence of doesn't get much better than this!

Using this alone time surrounded by the majesty of the sea and sand and air, the sights, sounds, and smells, and allowing God's spirit to flow in and rejuvenate my doesn't get much better than this!

Having these moments sitting under my umbrella on the sand to write this blog to friends I have developed though we've never doesn't get much better than this!

Just Be Real said... does not get any better PG! I see it was low tide when you took that lovely picture. Glad you are getting a lot out of your AA w/e! Many blessings and prayes extended your way.

OHH! Florida...My father use to work at the Cape when I was little. We lived in Satellite Beach...I have wonderful memories of those times and love the water!

Have been catching up on your blog .....although I do not share in your struggles I have a few people close to me who do....It is tough road....So glad your doing so well AND making the best out of the location for you meeting....AHHH! It must be tough! to enjoy the sand, beautiful ocean and fun in the sun.....but someone has to do it! Enjoy;)

You are so right. It doesn't get much better than what you are experiencing. And the Traditions too--hope that you and Steve share on those and what you heard.
