Friday 10/2/09 - "LAST ONE"

FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55

"LAST ONE"

Still warm sand sifted through her wiggling toes - a solitary figure on an isolated shore.

The blanket of silence was disrupted only by breaking waves, seagull screams as the sun dropped below the edge of the world.

The last person on earth watched the endless crashing waves.

How? Why?

No answers.

God is with her.
