Friday 3/19/10 - "DANCING INTO THE HEAVENS"

FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55

"DANCING INTO THE HEAVENS"

Born in a seashore village
Bereft of refinements of any kind
The sea played mystical magical music to her
Mind, body, and soul swayed
She bounded boulder to boulder
Years passed
She pranced rock to rock
One day a pirouette emerged and as she twirled
Off into the sky she soared
The heavens above opened

This is lovely...and oh how I wish I lived by the sea and could jump from boulder to boulder! :) But I'll wait a bit before I fly off into the sky...:D

I'm late on my 55s today but I am a lover of the ocean so your 55 today really got me wishing my feet were in the sand in the OBX. Absolutely beautiful 55 for a sunny day here.

As a child I worried about something like that happening.
