Friday 2/5/10 - "STOP THE WORLD"

FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55

"STOP THE WORLD"

Stop the world and get me off!

Stop my mind, that racing grind.
Lift the loathsome blogger's block that hinders free word flow.

Done with seeking self, a constant chore.
Tired! Let futile struggles cease.

Stop the world.
Give all to God.

Hear me calling.
Help me Father.
This child is suffering.
Heed my cry.

and read the ones of your fellow writers.

Oh yes, the racing mind. I am better than I was. I have a ways to go. Great 55 and pictures!

Have a warm and serene weekend, dear.

Sad one for this Friday. I hope that the world keeps orbiting and spinning.

When it is too much to bear you often have to hand over the reigns to someone. Great 55! Thanks for visiting mine!

PG...
We've had this conversation before.
You never have writers block.
What you call writers block, the rest of the world calls creative brilliance!
Beautiful 55 My Dear.
Such a Class Act!
Thank You for such a fantastic piece of Art.

Prayer Girl, here's one suggestion for unblocking bloggers block: Write a post about the simple things that make life wonderful for you. Then do my "Simple Things Challenge" and help raise my donation to the medical clinic and women's sewing circle in Haiti.

For everyone who posts about simple pleasures and then visits my blog to tell me about it this weekend, my family will donate $2 to Heartline Ministries. It's an excuse to think about the simple joys of life and help a suffering city in the bargain.
I hope I see you this weekend, PG.

Just ask and He is here. Lovely surrender, Prayer Girl.

Sometimes we really do just need a break from everything. I've felt pretty much the same way this past month. Best advice: be kind to yourself.

Terrific 55 PG!
