Friday 8/6/10 - "TREE HOUSE" - a 55

FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55

"TREE HOUSE"

She lived alone in her precious tree house tucked deep in the forest. She arose to sunbeams peeking through lacy, wispy curtains. She meditated to chirping birds and the rustling of squirrels. Mornings were spent gathering berries for picnics on the grass by her quiet peaceful home.

In her heart and spirit, it was real.

Oh, what a beautiful tree house - I find myself a bit envious of your protagonist... the sunbeams peaking through lacy, wispy curtains, the squirrels, birds, and picnics. Lovely!

This was spectacular.
I love how beautifully you glide thru life, spreading love, encouragement, and faith to all that you touch.
You make my Heart soar like an Eagle.
Thanks for for weekly bit of brilliance, and have a Kick Ass Week-End...G

nice idea to live in a tree...as a young girl i always wanted to live in a lighthouse - still think that's the most romantic thing in the world..

If it's real in her heart - then it's real.
I love the idea of gathering berries for a picnic. I might just do that this weekend.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of being a little girl and running to the woods to make houses from pine boughs, with plates and cups of bark and leaves, silverware of sticks and fairies and fawns were my friends.

Beautiful

It also (i think the photo) reminded me of Chene Chapelle

I want to live here! You make it sound so lovely. I read your post in google reader, which doesn't display your photos, and thought you were describing Snow White. I always wanted to be fairytale princess.

I would like to build a little shack out here on the island near where I anchor the boat. Kind of a tree house effect. I guess my boat is my tree house now.
