"SANCTUARY"She was searching for "sanctuary", silence, serenity.
After weeks she arrived at the seacoast driving the winding roads along the ocean cliffs.
It was late. She was tired, but felt the urge to stop.
Walking a narrow dirt path she suddenly saw silhouetted against the vanishing day, her "sanctuary".
The lighthouse was vacant, unlocked, hers.

When I was younger, I used to dream of living in a lighthouse, there was always something so darn *romantic* about them...
I have a huge print (okay, it's from Ikea...!) of a lighthouse photo on my bedroom wall. Maybe my sanctuary?
