FLASH FICTION FRIDAY 55
She was sober. He wasn't.
She was sane. He wasn't.
Abuse was escalating and sobriety was threatened.
What about the sweet children?
Stay or go?
She was relying on living one day at a time
and praying for God's will to guide her.
And she prayed for him.
The decision came.
Peace settled over her.

Always a positive message of faith and hope..
You are such a beautiful soul.
I have to tell you something...Week after week you say the most gracious and wonderful things on my 55's. You know, because I host it weekly, I feel like I have to set an example of quality and thought. You always get what I'm talking about, whether you like it or not, and I really appreciate it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Have a Kick Ass And Blessed Week-End...Galen

self preservation and sobriety first....at least for those of us in the program. My 55 is HERE .
Hard choices for sure but ones that have to be made, especially when children are involved.
if she had taken it into her hands the outcome could have been a disaster. Thanks for the sweet reminder of faith
